What Makes Graber Wood Blinds Beyond Compare!

What Makes Graber Wood Blinds Beyond Compare!

The Graber Wood Story

Graber Wood Blinds are constructed with 100% North American hardwoods due to its light weight, hardness and structural stability. These woods are also characterized by consistent color and have an attractive grain. The quality of the wood determines the quality of the blind. This by no means diminishes any American forest due to the practice of "sustained yield forest management" which results in twice as much hardwood being grown as is harvested each year.

Preserving the environment is also important to Graber. Their fabrication and finishing facility located in Mexico is 99.7% pollution free. Recycled sawdust and wood shavings are used by their Springs Wood Products facility in order to make it a completely self-sufficient manufacturing process. This Michigan plant uses kiln drying for the hardwoods used in their wood blinds. Complete control is maintained over the wood from green lumber to finished blinds. Slow drying is used on the woods to control structural changes that occur when moisture is removed from the wood. Defects are removed by high quality moulding and sanding operations.

What makes Graber Traditions Blinds better than the rest?

Components are carefully sorted prior to fabrication of Graber blinds based on uniformity of color and wood characteristics at their state-of-the-art finishing plant in Reynosa, Mexico. Defective wood is removed in a climate-controlled building. Quality control certified color technicians apply only the best paints and stains to finish the blind.

These are all factors that have combined to make Graber a leading brand in window treatments for decades. Depend on Graber for a look that is timeless!
