Metal Point Plus Metal Tire Racks provide a strong and reliable unit for storing rubber tires in your home garage or storage space. You can easily assemble these boltless shelving units with their easy-to-follow instructions. No special tools are required and requires little time. You just insert the shelf beams into a post and tap down with a rubber mallet for a strong, secure connection. The Metal Point Plus Tire Storage Racks come in a grey or putty finish only. These quality racks can store up to 48 tires depending on the shelf width and height and the size of the tires.
Each Metal Point Plus Metal Tire Rack is fully adjustable and comes with protective feet. The smaller rack can store up to 24 tires per shelf, while the longest rack can store up to 48 tires per shelf depending on the size of the tire. Each rack has 3 levels or shelves for storing tires. Shelving systems are contructed of 14 gauge steel with an open decking area to accommodate the surface of the tires. Each set contains 4 upright posts with three or four shelves. These units are available in three shelf widths and two unit heights. The tires rest firmly on the shelf sides. Shelving systems come with a guarantee against defects from the manufacturer when they are used and installed properly. Available options include tie plates to connect more than one unit (one bracket per package) and one inch magnetic labels (available in 1 foot magnetic strips) and wall brackets. If you decide to use tie plates, you can use one at the top of the workbench and one plate at the bottom on each end. There is one tie plate to a package.
