Metal Point Express Steel Shelving gives you a strong and reliable unit for storing items in your home, garage or office. These boltless shelving units come ready to assemble with easy-to-follow instructions. No special tools are required. You just insert the shelf beams into a post and tap down with a rubber mallet for a strong, secure connection. These Metal Point Express Shelving Units have been painted with a powder coated, corrosion resistant finish and come with protective feet. They are available in either grey or dark green. These quality shelves have a light / medium load capacity, and come with either three or five shelves.
Each Metal Point Express Steel Shelving Unit is fully adjustable and since there are no side "X" braces, they provide unrestricted access from all sides. Shelving systems are contructed with 16+ gauge steel, and arrive with 4 upright posts and three or five shelves depending on the unit you purchase. Each three shelf unit stands 36 inches tall and has a weight capacity of 200 pounds per shelf. The five shelf unit stands 72 inches tall and also has a weight capacity of 200 pounds per shelf. All of these shelves have a 12 inch depth. You'll find these shelves are ideal for basements or garages. Shelving systems come with a guarantee against defects from the manufacturer when they are used and installed properly. In addition to purchasing tie plates to attach more than one unit together, another available option is the 1 inch magnetic label (in one foot strips). Tie plates can be added at the top of the unit with another plate at the bottom on each end of the unit, but are not necessary to stabilize these units.
