Wood Storage Knife Block

Need a place to store your knives? Here is a beautiful hardwood item for your kitchen, the Kangaroo Knife Block was first slanted knife block designed by J. K. Adams in the early 70's. The idea was to design a knife organizer that would hold your cutlery at a low angle so they could be retrieved from the block when it is located back under an overhead cabinet. The "Kangaroo" name was added when the design was expanded to include the "pouch" for steak and paring knives which increased the Kangaroo Knife Blocks' storage capacity. J. K. Adams made the first slanted knife blocks and they remain the best ones around today.

There are three Kangaroo Knife Blocks available. The Joey will hold 6 large knives, 4 steak knives and steel (on left in picture). The Kangaroo 1 holds 8 large knives, 6 steak knives and steel (on right in the picture). And the Kangaroo 2 holds 9 large knives, 8 steak knives, 1 cleaver, 1 scissors, & steel (in the middle in picture). Each Kangaroo Knife Block comes with a five year warranty against defects in the workmanship from the manufacturer.
