Each table combines a sugar maple table top with a cherry base and the the work surface has a gentle rim on three sides to prevent run away food items (like crumbs) from rolling to the floor.lThese kitchen tables are made by hand in Vermont with centuries old contruction techniques. Additional features include an adjustable foot on each leg for leveling the table on uneven floors so it won't rock or wobble. The slatted lower shelf provides additional storage. Hand rubbed with three coats of finish. You even get a large, solid wood dovetail drawer with a stainless steel pull that rests on European glides which close automatically when the drawer is nudged.
Available in two sizes, these kitchen islands are both 24 inches deep and stand 36 inches tall; however, you have your choice of a 36 inch length or a 48 inch length. Every table comes ready to assemble in minutes and you do not need ANY tools to put it together. J. K.
