Chef Suvir Saran and his partner Charlie Burd have designed these special porcelain Mortar and Pestle Sets offered by J. K. Adams. These sets make the perfect kitchen accessory for creating spice blends and rugs, flavorful dips, marinades and herb mixtures. Here the traditional pestle has been re-designed with a wider base to prevent spices and other ingredients from jumping out of the mortar during the grinding process. Each pestle showcases a decorative motif representative of many Indian heirloom quilts. Available in either Cardamom Green or Saffron Orange, these glazed mortars are dishwasher safe and stain resistant. Each sturdy set has a two cup capacity and contains a chef's recipe.
