Cedar is used because it is durable and resistant to decay even under harsh weather
conditions. And every bed is splinter free because of the hand finished beveled edges
that accent the natural finish and beauty of the cedar. The Quilt Bed is shipped
in its natural color of pale tan or light gold - it is unfinished - which will
age to a silver gray patina over the period of a year in most climates. These
traditional bedroom pieces will allow you to enjoy a peaceful, old-fashioned
bedroom setting. It will bring a warmth and coziness to your sleep time because it is

Each individual part is handcrafted to fit securely just as with any well made
furniture. Partial assembly is required but with the illustrated instructions and
pre-drilled holes, it only takes approximately 15-20 minutes to put one together. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the frame is 7.5" while the distance from the floor to the bottom of the headboard is 20.5". The distance from the bottom of the ootboard to the floor is 10". The Quilt Bed comes in four standard sizes as shown below (daybed size is not available):
