Nothing is better on a cold winter evening than a fire in your own home's Fireplace. There are various accessories and décor pieces that complement a fireplace. However, a kettle can not only be decorative but functional as well. Winter air can be dry and fireplaces tend to remove moisture from the air. But a steamer or kettle left on the hearth near a burning fire, can slowly replace small amounts of moisture in your home's circulation. These decorative kettles have an old fashioned but decorative appeal. Hearth kettles were used before electricity to provide hot water for tea or coffee.
The Lattice Top Hearth Steamers are constructed of cast iron with a porcelain coated finish. Available in three colors, these steamers are still used to create humidity as the steamer absorbs heat from the fireplace fire. Colors include hunter green, black with white speckle and blue with white speckle. Each steamer measures 11” x 7” x 6-¼” The porcelain finish inside and out prevents rust and corrosion, but these are not designed to be used for drinking water. Only one steamer per order.
