So what does it mean when a clock is controlled by radio waves? Since radio signals reach most of North America, these clocks receive these signals through an antenna and you never have to worry about setting your clock. Radio controlled clocks are controlled by the atomic clock which is the world's most accurate clock located in Colorado and is the US Government's standard reference for the correct time. A low frequency radio signal is broadcasted 24 hours a day with this correct time. Infinity's radio controlled clocks use a UTS (German) movement to maintain the correct time. Just insert the "A" battery and press a button to tell the clock what time zone you are in, and overnight, your clock will set itself to the exact time. Daylight savings time changes are automatic.
